More about Baby Girl

We are starting the countdown to meeting our new baby girl. I had another sono last week and she is so cute and growing like a weed! They estimated that she weighed about 5 pounds 11 ounces! And still four weeks to go. We have a c-section scheduled for February 9th.

We do not officially have a name picked out as many, many of you have asked. We do have it narrowed but we won't make it official until we get to see her. She has cute chubby cheeks and I got to see a profile view that was adorable. She had her lips sticking out like she was pouting! It was so fun to see. And the sonographer says that she definitely has some hair. I kind of thought she might end up like her Momma....I had very little hair until I was about 2 years old!

The nursery is pretty much ready to greet a little girl. Mike has been working on the artwork to hang on walls. I'll try to take some pictures after he hangs those up.

The boys are excited to meet their little sister! Mike and I are super excited as well. And I am ready to not be pregnant! I feel huge! And I'm soooo tired of hearing that from everyone .... strangers, family, friends! :)

I can be the first to admit to myself that yes, my rear end had gotten a little bigger and my hips wider and yes, I'm a bit overweight in general, but I just don't want to have to admit that outloud to the world on a daily basis! Ya know what I mean??? Trust me, I'm ready for this baby to be here so I can get back to "normal"...whatever that is! However, I don't think I've gone crazy overboard gaining weight with this pregnancy. I think from what I started at, I've gained about 24 pounds so far. Granted, I did lose a little weight in the beginning but I don't really count that!

Again, I'll post some pictures of the nursery when we get them...and maybe even a picture of this every-expanding belly!!!!

Leslie, you have carried all three of your babies beautifully, so ignore the people who talk too much! And I just don't understand WHY people feel they have the liberty to give their opinions on a pregnant woman's appearance anyways. Do I tell them what a fat butt they have when they aren't pregnant? Why are the rules different because I am?

Just don't get that...

LOL! I have a very outspoken friend who is pregnant and due this week who actually told someone to mind their own business when they told her she was huge. She was also mad enough that she told them they were ugly and she would deliver her baby soon and they would still be ugly! Now, I would never be that outspoken or rude to someone, but that's what it makes you feel like, right?

You're not huge at all! It's so hard because I know how you feel. You just feel huge! She'll be here so soon! I can't wait to meet her! How fun that you got to see her! I want to see Roman, but who knows if they'll let me! Can't wait to see pictures of the room!!!
